2012 marked the most successful  Deland Comics & Collectibles Show to date! Jim and Lisa Cara put on a great one day show. With great guests and plenty of vendors this was truly an enjoyable family friendly event.

The night before the show we were invited to visit show organizers Jim and Lisa's shop Carasells Collectibles.

Inside we found an amazingly eclectic selection of pop culture items.

We could have spent all night roaming through the spacious shop but the night grew long and the morning would bring us the 2012  Deland Comics & Collectibles Show
Just before the doors opened we quickly set up our table.
Vendors were selling Star Wars toys from every collection.

Barbie collectors had plenty of good deals to find.
People were finding great deals and cool items all day long.

One dealer had a very nice selection of old records - including that classic - "Magoo Hi-Fi" (I wonder if that's on iTunes?)
Older items weren't the only things on sale plenty of vendors had newer collectibles including this great Halo statue.
Whatever collectibles you were into - the odds are you could find it there - check out that Seaview model ... and look there's Mr. Magoo again.

Master of the Universe.
Members of the 501st were stalking the convention floor.

The even recruited a young member.
Make-up artist Erick Helekson was on hand painting faces.
Artist Manny Cartoon and his wife Sue.
Larry Jarrell from What the Flux Comics.
Artist George Frei and his amazing work.
It's always a pleasure to artist/author Joe Fauvel.
Our neighbor for the show was the amazingly talented artist
Erika Taguchi-Newton.
Amy Vitale and Gordon Tobul along with their Global Elites director
Jerry Rodriguez.
Martin had a great time representing Cosmic Times.
