The 2009 convention tour to promote
"Arthur: The Legend Continues" brought us to Miami for the
Florida SuperCon. The show took place on June 5th - 7th at the
Double Tree Miami Mart Airport Convention
Center. This was by far the "craziest" convention we have
attended to date. From a Super Smash-Brothers stage show to an after
hours masquerade ball to cosplay wrestling this show had it all.
With one level for dealers, celebrities and entertainment and
another floor for panels, anime, video games and RPG there was never
a shortage of something to do. The show had a heavy anime focus but
also bolstered such media guest as
Bruce Campbell
and
Daniel "Boba
Fett" Logan as well as
comic legends
Chris Claremont,
Dick Giordano,
Pat Broderick and
Allen Bellman
along with Green Lantern
artist
Doug Mahnke
and Walking Dead artist
Tony Moore.
