Cosmic Times is returning to MegaCon in Orlando Florida! This will be our fifth time attending this show - this year you will be able to find us in the publisher section in booth 723. We have some great plans for MegaCon this year including co-hosting an after hours Drink & Draw event (see below) and will be debuting three new projects Deep Space Tragedy, What I.F. and Zach Bassett's Yurushi. Joining us on Sunday at the show will be Topps/Lucasfilm artist Vanessa “Banky” Farano and she will be brining along an exclusive Deep Space Tragedy print that she created special for the occasion (image coming soon).

The 2013 MegaCon Exclusive comic will be Deep Space Tragedy: The Bots of Cog Sketchbook!

Cosmic Times will be releasing the first issue of Mike Wagganer’s robot rock n’roll epic Deep Space Tragedy at MegaCon and to celebrate we have created a companion sketchbook - The Bots of Cog. This behind the scenes sketchbook shows the intense detail and design work Mike used in creating the world of Deep Space Tragedy. Featuring dozens of illustrations, this MegaCon EXCLUSIVE edition of The Bots of Cog will have a limited print run and will be priced at $3.00 (or FREE with any purchase of $15.00 or more). This limited edition will be available on a first come first served bases while supplies last at the Cosmic Times booth.

Announcing the first ever Drink & Draw – MegaCon
to benefit The Hero Initiative!


When: Friday March 15th 2013 from 8:00PM until 11:00 PM
Where: The bar at the Rosen Plaza - 9700 International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819
 

Following the opening day of the 2013 MegaCon (Friday March 15th) artists of all talent and professional levels with gather at the Rosen Plaza to unwind and create one-of-kind pieces of art in a relaxed environment. Spearheaded by comic book veteran John Ulloa and co-sponsored by South Florida based publishers Cosmic Times and Creature Entertainment this event was conceived as a way for artists and fans to unwind and interact in a more laid back setting. All artwork created during this event will be available for purchase and all proceeds will go directly to the Hero Initiative.

If you’re an artist or a simply a fan of art you are encouraged to attend – admission is FREE. Backed by a Nerd Nation Radio promotional campaign and plenty of local fan support Drink & Draw – MegaCon at the Rosen Plaza will be THE after hours event to attend at MegaCon this year!
